The Night with the Stars was a great success on Saturday last. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and were getting into the spirit of the night by joining in with the singing and arm waving. The stars included a special guest star, wee Daniel (AKA Gary Gamble), which went down a treat. Unfortunately Larry Cunningham was unwell and did not travel, but another great artist, Johnny Carroll and his trumpet stepped into the breech. He gave a lively performance and was a big hit. Some of the patrons were asking “when is the next one” on their way out, which is a great endorsement of the concert …… watch this space!!!
