The Night with the Stars was a great success on Saturday last. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and were getting into the spirit of the night by joining in with the singing and arm waving. The stars included a special guest star, wee Daniel (AKA Gary Gamble), which went down a treat. Unfortunately Larry Cunningham was unwell and did not travel, but another great artist, Johnny Carroll and his trumpet stepped into the breech. He gave a lively performance and was a big hit. Some of the patrons were asking “when is the next one” on their way out, which is a great endorsement of the concert …… watch this space!!! There will be a meeting held in the community hall at 8:30 PM on Tuesday 10th April to reconstitute the Moyglass tennis Club. Please come along if you would like to be involved with the new club or would like to take up the sport again. Coaching will be organised for those who are new to the sport.
